Indian Army soldiers have an habit of winning every battle. This time they have made us proud in biking achievements. Indian Army men performed some heart wrenching stunts on Royal Enfield cruisers. The Army even has a group called Dare Devils, which performs such tricks on different occasions. As of late, two armed force men set two new world records.
Capt. Manpreet Singh of Team Dare Devils broke a world record for ‘Longest continuous ride remaining on the seat of a motor cycle’, by riding a Royal Enfield in this position for a surprising 75.2 Km in 2 hours 24 minutes and 12 seconds. The past record was held by Ratnesh Pandey of Indore, who rode a cruiser for 32.3 Kms, on the seat. The past record was accomplished on 5th December, 2015.
Havildar Sandeep Kumar accomplished another record for ‘Handle Bar riding on a cruiser’. He secured a separation of 46.2 Kms in 60 minutes, 27 minutes and 31 seconds in this position. This is another record that the Indian Army has submitted to record books. The records were set at the Signal Training Center, Jabalpur.
The Indian Army has sent these records to other record books, the Guinness Book and Limca Book, and is anticipating accreditation.
