Every year UPSC conducts written examination for National Defence Academy for the admissions in different programs for National Defence Academy NDA and Naval Academy NA. NDA 1 2017 exam was held on 23rd April, 2017. Around 3 Lakh students who appeared in the examination. All the candidates were 12th qualified or were appearing. The candidates are selected on the basis of a written examination and then by a SSB interview. Those who qualify in the SSB interview has to go through a medical examination and then only they are selected for the prestigious NDA. The NDA 1 2017 Cut off marks are here.
The candidates who will be qualified in the SSB interview, will be on the merit list to join the National Defence Academy. UPSC does not publish any cut off marks for the written examination. UPSC only publishes the final cut off marks aggregately of written exam plus interview marks. UPSC also publishes the roll no. of qualified candidates for admission to the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy. All of the selection process happens under the Ministry of Defence. The mark-sheet of the candidates will be on the commission’s website within fifteen days from the final result date.
