Copyright and DMCA Guidelines

DefenceLover has adopted a general policy regarding copyright in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. DefenceLover removes material that is the subject of a compliant DMCA take down notice.

If you believe your copyright is being infringed, you can report the alleged violation.

DefenceLover has adopted a policy of terminating user accounts that are repeat infringers of the intellectual property rights of others. DefenceLover also may terminate user accounts based on even a single infringement.

If you believe that your copyright is being infringed, you can send us the notice by emailing us at contact@defencelover.in. Your claim must include the following information:

  • an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
  • a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  • a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Site, sufficient for DefenceLover to locate the material;
  • your address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement by you that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

How to submit a counter notification for the dispute?

You may file a counter-notification to DefenceLover if you believe material you have submitted to the Service has been the wrongful subject of a DMCA notification. Please provide the following information to the Designated Agent, listed below:

  • Specific URLs which refer to the material which was removed or to which access has been disabled.
  • Your address, telephone number, name and email address. You must include a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the federal district courts located in San Francisco County, California if you are located outside of the United States).
  • You must further agree to accept service of process from the original DMCA complaintant or the agent(s) of the original complainant.
  • You must also swear under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material in question was removed or access to the material was disabled only as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
