Ten Jawans of the Border Security Force (India’s first line of defence) went missing while travelling in a special army train to Samba sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The total number of BSF soldiers in the train were 83 and the 10 jawans went missing between West Bengal’s Bardhaman and Jharkhand’s Dhanbad railway stations.
When a regular head conduct was conduct, 10 BSF Jawans were missing from 83.
“83 BSF jawans were going to Jammu and Kashmir in a special train. Out of them, 10 jawans went missing somewhere in between Dhanbad and Bardhaman without informing their commander. We have filed an absconding report and have started investigating the matter,” Jitendra Kumar Yadav, Sub Inspector, GRP Mughalsarai told to media.
