For the first time NIA asks Pakistani Diplomat from Interpol


After filing a charge sheet against Amir Zubair Siddique, the NIA has added the former Pakistani diplomat on its ‘wanted  list’. Named ‘BOSS’ in the NIA list is identified as a Visa counsellor in the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The agency is also planning to issue Red corner Notices (RCNs) against Pakistani Officer who has repatriated to Islamabad.

While the NIA chargesheeted Sidiqque in February, the other three officers could not be identified. The two, who have been put on the wanted list apart from Sidiqque, are Pakistan intelligence officers coded as ‘Vineeth’ and another one as ‘ Boss alias Shah’.


They have been charged with waging a war against India and plotting 26/11 types attacks on US consulate in chennai and Israeli consulate in Bengaluru. Besides this Eastern Naval Command Headquarter in Visakhapatnam and ports in India were their targets. The NIA had found that Sidiqque who worked in Srilanka from 2009 to 2016 encouraged people to involve in terror activities and espionage in India.

The major plot of this suspect was discoverd when Thameen Ansari was arrested in 2014 by CID.

As Reported by The Indian Express ” ISI agent Hussain during the probe confessed that Sidiqque has assigned him to carry out attack.

Sivalban, Mohammad Salim and Rafeeque  Were recruited by Pakistani officers and instructed to Collect information about defence installations, nuclear establishments and movement of arms and to click the pictures of such places. They were further instructed to steal the laptops of senior Indian army officers and circulate the fake currencies in Tamil Nadu.

Hussein also gave detailed description of his meetings with various Pakistani officers as well as suicide attackers whom he had met in Bangkok.

The USA shared this sensitive information with India which has alerted the agency to investigate further. The code name for conspiracy to attack the US consulate was ‘Wedding Hall’ which was to be executed by ‘cooks’ a code for terrorists who were to gain entry from Maldives into India and ‘Spice’ was the code name for the bomb to be planted at the consulate.

This is the first time that NIA has issued name of a Pakistani diplomat in Wanted list.
