How Indian Army Planned To Kill Jaish-E-Muhammad’s Commander

Jaish-e-Muhammad’s Commander Khalid killed in an encounter today. The security forces have tracked him and put the mission to its end with the help of a former girlfriend of the commander of the Pakistan-based terror unit.

Last year, a Kashmiri young woman in her early 20s decided to walk her way to the office of a senior Jammu and Kashmir Police officer and said, “I want him dead.” The Woman was Khalid’s girlfriend who has had several romantic midnight rendezvous  with him in past.

She told the police officer, “I will lead you to his tracks, you do the rest (in killing him),” as the girl wanted Khalid, Jaish-e-Muhammad’s operational commander killed.

The reason that led her to such mission-

The reason a young woman decided to take up such measure against her former boyfriend was an incident that happened a year ago. One fine day, much to her joy, she discovered that she was pregnant and revealed the news to Khalid expecting him to be as excited. Khalid on the other hand, brutally informed the lady that he does not have anything to do with her and the child.

Khalid’s answer did not only leave her broken but also led to the demise of her unborn child after she got it aborted in Jalandhar, Punjab with a cousin.

Scorned after that incident, the girl was filled with determination to take the revenge of her child’s death.

Khalid reportedly had three-four girlfriends even at the time of his death, maintaining his Casanova image.

Khalid was the mastermind behind Jaish-e-Muhammad’s deadly fidayeen attacks. He executed the plans of a dozen attacks in North Kashmir mostly in Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara and Kupwara while sending in terrorist from North to South Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir police was getting information about the terrorist for a while but every time either the timing was incorrect or he dropped in unexpectedly. However, a covert team this time waited for Khalid in Sopore after sources close to the woman tipped them.

When Khalid arrived to meet a contact, he was injured by the Special Operations Group (SOG) after four minutes of cross firing between both parties.

Soon, injured and cornered, the Jaish-e-Muhammad chief in Kashmir was neutralised by the SOG, 3 battalions of CRPF (179, 177, 92) and 32 Rashtriya Rifles (RR).

The terrorist has had a long run of eight years with several close escapes from the kill. Khalid now being dead, Jammu and Kashmir has been relieved from one region of terror.
