A mobile handset with one interesting security feature has been developed by Hafiz Saeed led Lashkar-e-Taiba’s (LeT) student wing- Al Muhammadia Students (AMS). The feature is exclusively designed for the communication purpose of LeT members.
The handset uses a chip that automatically connects the handset with the nearest mobile tower while using any telecom service provider. The catch here is, the Indian intelligence agencies cannot trace the calls made by this handset and even if they somehow intercept the device, the call will automatically disconnect.
20-year old Multan based trained Let terrorist – Zaibullah alias Hamza who was caught from a house in Jugdiyal area in Kupwara on April 7 made this revelation during his interrogation with National Investigation Agency.
He has also claimed the global terror outfit, Lashkar-e-Taiba to have recruited and trained 450 boys in 2017 from Pakistan to participate in anti-India operations. Selected ones have been through rough arms training from different camps while LeT is also having 15 to 25 years old radicalized in the name of ‘Burhan Wani’.
Zaibullah also claimed that Lashkar and its parent organization Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) operates underground training camps specially to train the fidayeens (suicide squad), the details of which were exclusively accessed by TOI.
Seven Operational Camps:
- Tabuk in Mansera (meant for basic physical training),
2.Aksa Maskar in Muzaffarabad (for weapons training, GPS, surviving etc),
3. KFC or Karachi Food Centre (meant for supply of ration to launch pads),
4. Dakhan in Muzaffarabad (for mountain climbing training),
5. Daura Bait-ul-Rizwan in Muridke (for combat and climbing),
6. Khalid bin Valeed in Muzaffarabad main city (called Headquarters of JuD/LeT training centres as all equipments, arms, ammunition, ration, clothing, vehicles and raw material is supplied from here to all training centers and launch pads in Pak and PoK) and
- Maskar Khaibar (underground training camp for suicide terrorists only).
Zaibullah, son of an Income Tax officer from Pakistan was also encouraged by his father for the Jehadi activities who even donated Rs 1,000 per month in the “Jehadi Fund”
LeT has 30 to 40 cadres prepared in its launch pads at any chance for crossing over to India, suggests Zaibullah who actively volunteered for the arms training.
Zaibullah, during his training in Dakhan in January 2017 had a visit of LeT’s operational commander and 26/11 accused Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and then in another camp in Muzaffarabad, LeT chief Hafiz Saeed visited who both stayed with them respectively motivating all the while to fight for Jehad and hugged them all.
A group of six, including Zaibullah had crossed over to India on March 2/3 this year. During an encounter on March 20, while all five except Zaibullah were killed, he managed to escape with a bullet that hit his hand, only to be caught 15 days later.
The five others were- Wakas (commander of the group, resident of Lahore), Shuram (Bahawalpur), Fadaullah (Lahore), Umer (Sind) and Kari (Dhir, Pakistan) via Dudhniyal and then Tezia in PoK.
