Pakistani Army planning BAT operations in Kashmir- Intelligence Report

According to intelligence report, Pakistan Army and the ISI are planning a Border Action Team(BAT) operation to open an offensive against the Indian Army at the Line of Control (LoC). It was reported that Pakistan Army’s specific input is planning a strike by its special service group with Jihadi terror outfits in areas of Gurez, Keran, Nowgam, Uri and in Kashmir Valley.

The report has come after Indian army has severely did a crackdown against the militants and terrorists in the valley since past 6 months.

The intelligence report also suggests that terrorists can strike on the highways connecting roads to , Pulwama, Anantnag, Kulgam in south Kashmir and Kupwara, Baramulla in North Kashmir, besides Srinagar, and its adjoining Ganderbal. Few days back, a lashkar attack on CRPF road opening party in Quazigund injured four CRPF personnel.

Nearly, 140 terrorists have been neutralized which includes the top Hijbul and lashkar commanders. The heads of three terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammad, Hijbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba met recently in central Kashmir to make the strategy.

Unlike Burhan Wani, the terror groups have told the terrorists to avoid posting on social media because it helps the security forces to track their location. However, the security forces feel that this is a matter of some more time and every terrorist will be eliminated from Kashmir.
